Working with us
People will always be the key to our success and we believe in the power of collaboration, trust and support. We are committed to providing an environment to thrive and grow, and live out our values of putting health, safety and wellbeing at the forefront of what we do.
Landpower employs over 100 staff across a range of sales, marketing, technical support, parts and administrative roles in Christchurch and Melbourne. A further 300 people are employed across the CLAAS Harvest Centre distribution network.
Our Apprenticeship and Graduate Internship programs offer the opportunity for world-class training, career and personal development, and the ability to earn while you learn.
Our Way
We understand the power of relationships – with colleagues, our customers, local communities and within our own team. These core values shape our culture and the way we do business.
In it Together
We collaborate, trust and support each other to deliver better outcomes for farmers and our business.
Front Up
Integrity is everything to us. We build trust and loyalty with those around us by doing what we say we will do - every time.
Keep Growing
We look ahead. We continue to learn, improve and innovate to deliver future success.
Project Zero Harm
We are committed to a zero-harm environment and have established a number of initiatives to promote an open and strong culture of safety and wellbeing.
Project Zero Harm is our overarching philosophy for the health and safety program at Landpower and the CLAAS Harvest Centre network. As part of this project, our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides a professional and confidential counselling service to any employee who is experiencing any personal or work-related difficulties.
'Keeping Ahead' is a critical value in our organisation and we are committed to the ongoing training and development of our people to ensure that they are at the forefront of their fields. We deliver job-specific training and development which helps our people to achieve their personal professional goals and career aspirations.
Examples of this include multi-level technical service training delivered in Australia, New Zealand and Europe; in-depth product and sales training designed to improve product knowledge and soft sales skills; leadership training through LMA; and many competency-based training modules.
We care about the health and wellbeing of our people. The agricultural industry is renowned for its seasonal challenges, and our 24/7 promise means that huge demands are often made on many of our customer-facing employees during the busy harvest season. To support our employees during these times and all year round we offer a range of wellness initiatives.
We also offer a Landpower Plus lifestyle scheme which offers discounts on everyday expenses such as petrol, gift purchases and vouchers as well as household expenses like Health Insurance.
